What we collect
When you give, our payment processor collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number or bank account number. We receive your name, email, the amount you give, and the status of your gift so we can track donations and send receipts and statements.
When you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to serve pages, protect against abuse and count visits. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To process your donation and send receipts and an annual giving statement.
- To respond to your messages.
- To keep required financial and tax records.
We do not sell, rent or trade donor information. We share it only with the service providers that process payments and host this site, and as required by law.
Your choices
You can update or cancel a recurring gift at any time through the donor portal. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted (subject to our record-keeping duties), email info@helpinghumanstn.org.
